Dining Room

In the old days, this room was the dining room, living room and sometimes also a place to sleep in winter. It is very cosy in winter with the original ‘Kachel Ofen’, which can take up to 2 hours to warm up! The long side board is made out of Elm wood and is from China. Lanterns are from Koch Design in Thailand. Iron chandelier and mirror were custom made by Panita in Bangkok. The old dining table was restored and extended with a frame of cherry wood. As two ‘Maria alcoves’ are just too many, one is being used as ‘Schnaps alcove’ for visitors and the late evening hours.
